1883 Wrapper locally used in Bangkok uniquely address to H.M. King Chulalongkorn from Siam Weekly Advertiser(a wellknown foreign run magazine by Dr. Samuel Smith), affixed with single First Issue 1Att(#2) tied by very clear KRUNGTHEP (BSR-01A) cds dated Saturday the 9th day of waxing moon, the 1st month of year C.S.1245 corresponding to 8 December 1883. Reverse is believed tobe the King's personal short note in pencil about the King's illness. Only 126 after the date of providing postal service in Bangkok. This wrapper is one of the only two known and the earliest dated. Condition is amazingly well preserved over 136 years. Exquitesitely rare item in all respect. F.(1) P.A.T.Certified #64/2018.
